Wing Galiber II is the player ship from Terra Cresta II.

A combat ship developed by Earth Recovery Army Terra Cresta. During the First War of Terra Cresta, development began on a successor to the Wing Galiber that could stand against the steadily increasing might of the Mandler Army. Following the design philosophy passed down from the CR47 to the original Wing Galiber, all manner of new and experimental technologies were applied to increase the stability of the telepathic control system and increase the power of Formation Attacks, to make this new craft the culmination of Docking Fighter Design.
In Cosmic Year 0092 while development was still underway, the surface of Earth came under the control of Zofer, the Universal Order of Darkness, and development was forced into secret underground bases. For a time, completion of the new ship seemed hopeless, but with the survival of humanity on the line, development resumed at a fever pitch and a new but still experimental formation system was hurriedly installed as the ship was thrust into battle.
The pilot in this first battle was Go Kurogane, who had been the ship's test pilot from the beginning of development. The ship exceeded expectations, proving the excellence of the design. This ship was intended to operate chiefly in fully docked mode, and in contrast to the original Wing Galiber, in which each composite fighter was designed to also function as a high-performance solo fighter, the Wing Galiber II is distinct in that the fighters that compose it were designed more like enhancement parts.
Because of this, the ship's mobility increased greatly when fully docked. Formation control via telepathy was also much more stable, successfully reducing the stress on the pilot. This also made control of the Phoenix Blaze phenomenon created by a high telepathic synch rate much easier, making powerful firing controls possible and enabling the weaponization of composite fighters via Formation Shot and Fire Formation.
The Wing Galiber II was easily much more advanced than the original Wing Galiber, but due the harsh wartime conditions under which it was completed, only a very small number were built. It is believed that had the ship been completed a year earlier, the course of battle with the invaders would have changed greatly.
